City of Fertile

Parents of pre-kindergarten children, including infants, are invited to join 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, a new program encouraging parents to read to their children 1,000 times before they enter kindergarten. To learn more about 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, visit larl.org/1000books.

Rubber Stampers and Paper Crafters are welcome to join us from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m on the second Thursday of the month. It's a card making workshop! Call for more details or to sign up. 945-6137.

For patrons unable to come to the library, please call the library at 945-6137 to make arrangements. We do monthly in town delivery or you may designate an authorized individual to pick up your items.

We encourage you to place holds on items in the library catalog. Contact the library after you receive the notification that your items are in to arrange a pickup time. If possible call again when you have arrived. The librarian will bring out your items, carefully placing them six feet from your vehicle and requesting that you remain in your vehicle until the librarian has stepped away. When the librarian gives you the 'thumbs up', you may exit your vehicle and pick up your items.

Lake Agassiz Regional Library has added Wireless Hotspots to its collection, offering wireless Internet access to those without it at home and those who wish to stay connected while traveling. They are available to request from our library catalog.
